Walt Disney, de man die iedereen wel kent, is iemand die mij heel erg inspireert. Niet alleen om de geweldige animatiefilms, of pretparken, maar vooral om zijn inborst. Walt Disney was niet iemand die leefde voor het geld maar hij liet het geld juist werken voor hem. Hij deed alles om zijn dromen te realiseren en tegelijkertijd geluk, vrede, en kansen te geven aan anderen.

Walt Disney was een simpele man met een droom. Zoals Peter Pan geloofde hij sterk dat in ieder mens nog steeds een stukje kind verborgen zat, en dit stukje wilde hij een warm gevoel geven, en een motief om zich te manifesteren, ondanks tegenslag, verdriet of armoede.

Veel van Walt Disney’s uitspraken zijn opgetekend en hieronder deel ik een aantal van zijn uitspraken, die tot op de dag van vandaag (voor mij in ieder geval) hout snijden. Omdat ik ze er niet mooier op vind worden als ik ze vertaal naar het Nederlands, geef ik de oorspronkelijke quotes in het Engels weer :
